Default Setting default view when opening .doc from emails?

How do I set the default setting for word documents to open in normal view as
opposed to web, print or reading layouts when opening .docs from
MSOutlook2003? And have it stay that way when the boss opens up aonther .doc
from his emails.

Thanks

Under ToolsOptionsGeneral, uncheck the box before "Allow starting in
Reading Layout"
