Default How do I start Word 2003 without receiving ActiveX and macro warni

I am trying to open a Word 2003 document. I am always prompted to
enable/disable macros and, at the same time, a box comes up and says the
command cannot be performed because a dialog box is open. Then another box
pops up to say, "This application is about to initialize ActiveX controls
that might be unsafe..." Then "The macros in this project are disabled..."
Then the macro warning again. Then the ActiveX warning again. Then the
macros are disabled warning again. Then the macro warning again. At that
point I click "disable" and then the document opens.
