I tried installing windows that I cannot activate, now i am having problems
getting the demand to activate it off the screen. I want to install the new
one that I just bought.

Note that this is a newsgroup for questions about Word, not Windows.
You'd better ask for assistance in a Windows newsgroup. Generally
speaking, though, you can't get rid of the prompt to activate a
Microsoft product until you've actually activated it. If you can't
activate by the Internet, you can do it by phone.
