How can I put different footnotes on the same line at the bottom .
I would like to be able to put more than one footnote on the same line at the
bottom of the page. As of now each footnote takes its own line. Does anyone know how to put a number of small footnotes on the same line. |

You *can* do it, but it won't really help. You can set tab stops in the
Footnote Text style and insert tab characters at the end of the first one or two footnotes you want to be on a line; then format their paragraph marks as Hidden. Unfortunately, Word still allows as much space for the footnotes as if they were stacked, so you gain nothing. -- Suzanne S.
