Default Drop Down menu

I have a protected read only form that the employees tab to fill in the
blanks. I am atttempting to insert a new drop down menu but do not want any
of my items in my list to default. My other drop downs have a list but also
appear to have a blank choice also.

Default Drop Down menu

You can get a blank choice by typing a space or two as the first entry.
