Is doc revision history contained within file?
No history unless Track Changes is turned on.

"Scott Kelley" wrote in message ... I am wondering whether there is any information contained within a Word document that would indicate what changes were made and when. For instance if I created a doc on 1/1/01 that says "The quick grey fox..." then on 2/2/02 I went in and changed it to read "The quick brown fox...", is there anything within the doc file that would allow me, today, to see what change was made, and when? The file in question, I suspect, did NOT have Track Changes running. Thanks, Scott Kelley |
