Word 2003-- Custom Format Settings
GOAL: I want to control what paragraph styles my users can see when working
a document created from my template. I created a custom view of Available Styles, which I controlled from the FORMAT SETTINGS dialog box. It works fine on my machine, but on other machines, users see additional styles in the STYLES AND FORMATTING window. When I double on the SHOW CUSTOM at bottom of this window, the FORMAT SETTINGS dialog box shows that the check boxes under OTHER FORMATTING are turned ON. When I open my template on my machine, I notice that the OTHER FORMATTING checkboxes are grayed out and I can't control them. I think this is the source of my problem. What's up? How do I accomplish my goal? -- Breaching Whale |
