Don't ask to merge into existing document when opening 2nd document
One of my secretarial users yesterday asked:
"When I open a Word attachment from my e-mail, the computer will often ask me if I want to merge the new document with an old document. How do I make it stop asking this????" I assume by this question, that means she has 1 MS Word document already open when she tries to open the 2nd document. Using Word 2002 (from Office XP). Is this possible? -- + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + Chris Barnes AOL IM: CNBarnes Yahoo IM: chrisnbarnes Computer Systems Manager MSN IM: Department of Physics ph: 979-845-7801 Texas A&M University fax: 979-845-2590 |
