Default survey-forms

I want to send an electronic survey form with check boxes and dropdows. This
is all OK. I'd also like user to be able to enter text on their own. When I
protect document to enable ease of check boxes, user can't add text. Any
suggestions not involving protecting and unprotecting docement to complete
form? Thanks

You use text form fields where you want users to be able to add text. If you
want them to be able to add text without form field restrictions, create a
separate section of the document (by inserting a section break), and leave
that section unprotected.
