Default converting a word 2003 document into word 2000

I am trying to convert a word 2003 document which contains graphics so that I
can open it and edit the document within word 2000. When I try and do a save
as it make the file size 22Mb.

Default converting a word 2003 document into word 2000

There is no difference in file format between Word 2000 and Word 2003. You
should be able to open and edit the document in either version.
