Default Formatting

When I save a document to a CDRW, the formatting: paper size, orientation and
margins automatically reset and it's to something other than the default
settings in word. How do I stop this?

Don't save directly to a CDRW. Always work and save to the hard disk and
use Windows explorer to copy documents elsewhere.
