Weird line numbering
Using Word 2003.
We use line numbering extensively, and most of the time it works as advertised. However, sometimes when pasting a bulleted list into a table cell, the line numbers acquire bullets as well! Similarly with pasting numbered lists into a table cell -- the line numbers change from 1, 2, 3 to 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 etc. Closing Word and re-opening it does not fix the problem. The only workaround I have found is to shutdown the machine and reboot it. Then the line numbering is restored to normal. Has anyone else seen this, and is there a less drastic workaround? -- Ian |
