Default images pasted into a word document are not displaying

When pasting screen shots into a word document they will not always remain
displayed, particularly after scrolling off that page and returning. The
image is still there (prints ok) but it won't display. Images are obtained by
pressing the "Print Scrn" button, ALT+TAB to Word, and Ctrl+V or right click
mouse and Paste.

In Tools Options View, make sure that "Drawings" is checked and
"Picture placeholders" is _not_ checked.

That is the existing setting.

Try reducing or turning off hardware acceleration in Start | Control
Panel | Display | Settings | Advanced | Troubleshoot. If this fixes the
problem, then you might want to check the website of the manufacturer of
your video card/graphics adapter to see if there is an updated driver
available.

Woth a try, but this is a corporate pc so tightly locked down I have no
access to the hardware acceleration setting, or to the run dialogue for
running dxdiag.

I'll mark this as resolved and forward the query back onto our help desk.

Cheers and thanks for the responses.
