how do I delete unwanted reference entries in Word?
I have a document in which I have created references to endnotes, tables and
figures. I seem to be missing one endnote reference and to have one too many figure and table references. These are all visible in the insert cross-reference area but I cannot find them in the document itself. Any ideas on how I can delete the unwanted entries from the database storing the references? |

You might try looking in the Insert | Bookmark dialog. Check the box for
"Hidden bookmarks" and select the radio button for "By location." Select a likely looking bookmark and click on Go To. -- Suzanne S.
