How do I number pages in Word starting from one, beginning on, say, the fifth
page of a document? |

You'll need a section break, and then you'll need to unlink the
header/footer in Section 2 from Section 1 so you can omit numbering in Section 1. Or use the following field construction
{ IF { PAGE } 4 { = { PAGE } - 4 } } in the Header or Footer as the case maybe where you want the page numbers to appear.
