Default trying to edit pre-existing mailmerges documents - how ?

Hi, I was hoping someone could help me.

I have to edit pre-exisiting mail merge documents. I just dont know where to
start. How do i determine the datasource that these documents are linked to?
How do I determine all the available fields that the document has the option
of including within it from the datasource?

I am quite confused.

Any help most appreciated!

Cheers, Joe

If you use the old mail merge helper (see
http://www.gmayor.com/mail_merge_lab...th_word_xp.htm ) the 'data' option
will tell you the location of the data file. The merge toolbar will reveal
the available fields.
