Default How can I open protect word created from Word 2003 in Word 2000?

I'm using word 2003. I've created a word document with protect document
(editing restriction some comment). and then I open that file with word 2000
all zones has been protected why???
I must can fill comment in some zone...
what should I do???

This is because "full protection" is the closest equivalence in Word
2000 to the feature you mention.
