Default How about including the verb form "advise" in your understanding .

[v] give advice to
[v] give information or notice to; "I advised him that the rent was due"
[v] make a proposal, declare a plan for something

not in Word 2003 English dictionary

It's in mine. What command are you using to look it up? e.g. Alt +
click to look it up in the Research task pane?
