Default Can I download Microsoft Word 2003 to my Windows XP Home edition?

I need to upgrade to a newer version so I can do more with the " Microsoft
Word".

You can purchase it but it can't be "downloaded".

What do you think you can do with Word 2003 as opposed to whatever version
you do have? Or is that the problem - you don't have Word.
