Default How do I manipulate pictures in Word using a Newsletter template?

I am re-creating our newsletter that we normailly do in Publisher. I am
having a difficult time getting the pictures where I want them. Any
suggestions?

It depends a bit on where you want them and how you want text to be flowing
around them. Word is not a layout program like Publisher and you won't be
able to do the same things. If you click on a picture you should see the
Picture toolbar from which you can gain access to all the relevant dialogs.
Can you be a bit more specific about what you want.

We send our newsletter all over the US. We are looking into adding a barcode
to the adress. In order to do a mail merge with our newsletter (which
Publisher won't do with barcodes), we need to create our newsletter in Word
in order to attach the barcode. The secondary purpose is to eliminate
printing labels.

The POSTNET bar codes produced by Word are no longer USPS-compliant, so it's
pointless to add them.
