Default Printing multiple copies, multiple pages to a sheet?

I want to print multiple copies of a page AND multiple pages per sheet: box
label - print the same page twice, but 2 per sheet (to cut in half and affix
at each end).
I tried print dialogue "number of copies:2" and "printer propertiesages
per sheet:2" but result is a single, half-sized copy of the page aligned at
the top of the sheet. Help? Thanks!

Default

You have to tell Word what two pages to put on a sheet. Assuming your file
has only one page, you have to give it Pages: 1, 1.
