Character Spacing in Trebuchet MS
I haven't seen this myself, but it *could* be a sign of font corruption. Have
you tried reinstalling the font? (It is included with several versions of Windows and Word; see http://www.microsoft.com/typography). -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "Danny" wrote: Hi, I have a user that uses Trebuchet MS. Just recently her character spacing has slightly expanded. Everything in the Font dialog box is normal. I checked the same document on her pc and mine. All settings appear the be the same (Scale, Spacing, Style....) but the spacing is definately expanded on her pc. Any ideas? |

Character Spacing in Trebuchet MS
I am having some odd character spacing issues with this font as well. Here is a screenshot in MS Word: http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/sc...01319.png.html
As you can see, it's left justified and looks like it's badly full-justified. There are NO extra spaces in that sentence. It actually looks better when full-justified. No, I didn't write that lousy sentence either On Monday, April 7, 2008 4:46:00 AM UTC-5, Stefan Blom wrote: I haven't seen this myself, but it *could* be a sign of font corruption. Character Spacing in Trebuchet MS
Hi,
I am having some odd character spacing issues with this font as well. Here is a screenshot in MS Word: http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/sc...01319.png.html may be it depends on the printer. Also check "File | Options | Advanced | Display | Optimize character positioning for layout rather than readability": http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/wo...010164017.aspx (Select this option to display character positioning accurately, as it will appear in the printed document with respect to blocks of text. Spacing between characters may be distorted when this option is turned on. For best readability on the screen, turn this option off.) -- Cheers, Lisa |
