Default Word Help

Whenever I launch Word I have to close header/footer view. I have tried to
rename template etc- cannot get it to stop- help!!!

If you're still there, try shutting Word and deleting the
Normal.dot from Explorer completely. Start up Word and
you will get a brand new template.

Hope it works if not already done.

We never advise deleting Normal.dot. Renaming it suffices to cause Word to
generate a fresh copy and allows for the possibility of retrieving
customizations.
