Hi,

I insert visio drawings from multiple sheets into a word document with the
following method:

Go to named sheet in Visio;
Go to Edit-Copy Drawing
Go to Word-Edit-Paste Special select Microsoft Visio Drawing Object and
Paste Link

This allows me to have links to multiple sheets of a Visio drawing into my
Word document.

My question is can I modify my links to be relative instead of absolute?

Hi Manu,

In a word, no. Links to external files are always absolute - even if the
files are in the same folder and you delete the path from the Link field
code, Word stores the full path.
