I have completed a word document with several hyperlinks to other documents,
webpages and so on. Everything works great! I have saved it in a network so
that many other users (in my company) can open it and read it. Some of the
other users says that the hyperlinks doesnit work. I dont understand why. My
question is if its possible for me, to rule how the document will work when
opened, or is it the options every user have that decides? I think it might
have to do with the Field code box. I am very greatful for all help, because
i am not a IT-person, just an ordinary user :-) /Biggan

There are two settings that might affect hyperlink display and functionality
for individual users:

1. The status of field display. Pressing Alt+F9 toggles between display of
field codes and field results. When field codes are displayed, hyperlinks
are displayed as { HYPERLINK "path" } and are not clickable.

2. A setting on the Edit tab of Tools | Options in Word 2002 and 2003: "Use
Ctrl + Click to follow hyperlink." By default this box is checked, and users
must press Ctrl while clicking to follow the hyperlink; a ScreenTip pops up
to tell users this.
