Default Cannot Position Big Pictures..

Hey all,

As far back as I can remember I've had major problems working with big
pictures in Word. When I say "big pictures", I generally refer to pictures
that are so large that they can't fit inside the page's margins but should
still be able to fit a printed A4 page.

So, when I insert such a big picture in the document and set it the text to
flow around it (so I can freely position the picture), every time I try to
move it it's automatically snapped to the top or bottom of the current page.
I have absolutely no idea on how to fix this. The picture can easily fit a
printed page, but somehow I guess it's conflicting with the page's margins
:|

Anyone able to help me out?
Thanks,

Right-click, select Format, go to Layout Advanced, and position the
graphic manually. Not sure how you expect the text to flow around it,
though, if the picture is larger than the page.

Strange, I already tried entering the absolute position before asking the
question and it had absolutely no effect.
I guess I'd just been using too big values.

Anyway, thanks a bunch

It's always worked for me, even with pictures positioned at (0,0) -- h =
297, w=210. Which is as large as you want for A4!
