Default How do I remove highlighting and keep the text?

I am writing a report and highlighted an entire area and now need to remove
the highlighting. Please help me out. The report is due tomorrow. I am
using Microsoft Word.

Default How do I remove highlighting and keep the text?

Did you use the highlighter on the toolbar to add the highlight? If
so, just select the same area, click the down arrow next to the
highlighter button, and select None.
