Default Word 2007 Professional (Trial)

Word will not allow the save function. The insert picture from a file
function does not work.

The Office Diagnose show no problems with the Suite.

Hi William,

If you start Word 2007 while holding the ctrl key can you create and save a document? If so you may need to rename the Normal.dot
and/or Normal.dotx or .dotm files.

Did you have a previous version of Office 2007 on the machine? If so rename the Building Blocks.dotx file (dated before 26Oct)
after shutting down all Office apps.

Also be sure that you've removed all prerelease Office/Expression products from Add/Remove Programs and if you have Norton Antivirus
turn off the Office Plugin setting from the Antivirus 'Miscellaneous' settings.
