Default how do I set up a repeating information in word doc

I need to be able to repeat the same information in a word document and would
like to write it only once. And then would like to have for some of them the
possibility to say if need to enter same type of information more than once.

For exemple: could have to enter 1 item or 2 or 3 items numbers

You can repeat information by bookmarking the original instance and then
using the REF field in the locations where you want it repeated.

Select what you want repeated, and choose Insert - Bookmark. Type a name for
the bookmark, then click Add.

To repeat that text somewhere else, choose Insert - Reference -
Cross-Reference. Set Reference type: to Bookmark, and set Insert reference
to: to Bookmark text. If you want to be able to use the repeated instance as
a hyperlink, enable Insert as hyperlink, otherwise, remove the check. Under
For which bookmark, click the desired bookmark and then click Insert. Click
Close unless you want to insert additional references at this time.

The latter step inserts a REF field. You can save some work if you know the
name of the bookmark. Rather than using Insert - Reference, etc., press
Ctrl+F9 (insert field), type REF bookmarkname inside the { braces } and
press F9 (update field).

Note that when/if you change the original text, you will need to select the
REF field(s) and press F9 to update them. In most cases, you can do this by
pressing Ctrl+A to select the whole document and then pressing F9.
