In Word 2003 or earlier, go to Tools AutoCorrect Options AutoCorrect and uncheck "Replace text as you type". In Word 2007, the same dialog is at Office button Word Options Proofing AutoCorrect Options. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org Email cannot be acknowledged; please post all follow-ups to the newsgroup so all may benefit. |
