Merge Access OLE Photo to Word
Hi;
Have a need to merge an Access database to MSWord. The data source is a querry created in Access based on a table that contains both text and an image, (photo.jpg). The Data Type of the the image in Access is set to: "OLE Object" All merge correctly except for the photo image. After the merge Word displays: "Long binary or text value" for the photo field. (Get the same result when merging the Employee Table in the Northwind.mdb example that comes with Access. Need to see the photo diplayed in Word not "Long binary or text value" Can someone be so kind as to point me in the right direction. Thank You. Andy |

Mailmerge cannot handle Ole fields.
See the "Graphics from data base" item under the "Special merges" section of fellow MVP Cindy Meister's website at http://homepage.swissonline.ch/cindy...r/MergFram.htm -- Hope this helps. Please reply to the newsgroup unless you wish to avail yourself of my services on a paid consulting basis. Doug Robbins - Word MVP "Andy" wrote in message ...
