Default How does ActiveX get into my Word Document?

I sometimes draft an e-mail message in Word 2002, using the Times New
Roman font. I then "Select All" and "Copy".

Then I go to Outlook Express New Message Paste. Immediately, a panel
flashes on: "Your current security settings prohibit running ActiveX
controls on this page. Your page may display incorrectly."

When I click OK, the pasted text looks garbled because it shows up in
different font sizes.

Why does Word insert an ActiveX control in my Word document? How do I get
rid of it? Is my normal.dot corrupted? All my security settings are set for
"Internet", not "Restricted".

Thanks

Walter
