Headers and Page Numbering Problem
Hi,
I've been scouring the net with Google's assistance to find a solution to my problem. So far I have learned a lot about the topic but not enough to actually resolve my problem. I am hopeful that someone here can point me in the right direction. I have a rather long document. It consists of several pages of introduction material and then about 50 policies and procedures. I would like to have a footer that applies to the entire document with a page numbering scheme like Page X of Y. For example 1 of 102, 2 of 102, etc. In the header I would like to use a different page numbering scheme. I would like to renumber each policy using the Page X of Y scheme. So, policy one would be Page 1 of 3, 2 of 3, etc. Then policy two would start over as Page 1 of 4, 2 of 4, etc. The footer would give the reader a sense of the entire document. The header would give the reader a sense of the policy. Can it be done? Thanks, Neeva Candida |
