How I can Limit Number of characters per document in word document? Is there
a function or text box that I can use?

What is the purpose of this exercise and in which Word version? The first
thing that comes to mind is to use a fixed size frame, but of course even
that will hold a different number of characters depending on which
characters are used, let alone which font and font size, as proportional
font characters each occupy a different amount of space.
