Default Can't protect styles in Word 2002?

When I go to ToolsProtect Document, I only have choices to protect tracked
changes, comments and forms.

Can I not protect styles in this version?

You have listed the "Editing Restrictions." Do you have a "Formatting
Restrictions" choice? That one includes styles.

No - I only have radio buttons for those three options, a greyed-out
"sections" button, and a text box where I can type a "Password (optional)".
There are no tabs, no "task pane", just a little bitty dialog box...

Thanks,
Heidi

Ah, of course, because you have Word 2002 (missed that in your subject
line). Style protection was introduced in Word 2003.
