Hi,
I have Windows XP on my labtop, and I'm having troubles finding the Microsoft Equation 3.0. It's a math program, which makes the math layout very nice and correct. Can anyone help me? I don't know if it ecxists for the XP version, but I don't mind changing system if it nesessary.... Thanks. Anne |

Microsoft Equation 3.0 is not part of Windows XP. It is included with
Microsoft Office and Microsoft Word. Anne wrote: Hi, I have Windows XP on my labtop, and I'm having troubles finding the Microsoft Equation 3.0. I have the office pack installed on the computer, and my word works just
fine.. But i can't seem to find the equation program. My computer anounces updates for the computer, but every time I try to update, it says the install could not complete because of (i don't know what it is called in english) but some sort of code called 1601 - and something about my service pack.. Do you or anyone else know, what the problem is? "garfield-n-odie" skrev: Microsoft Equation 3.0 is not part of Windows XP. It is included with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Word. One problem at a time... To create a Microsoft Equation object in Word,
click on Insert | Object | Microsoft Equation. If this is is not a choice on the Insert menu, then you need to install the Microsoft Equation feature from your Office CD by clicking on Start | Control Panel | Add/Remove Programs | Microsoft Office | Change | Add/Remove Features.
