How do I split subdocuments in Word 2007?
Hi ?B?QXZlcmlsbEI=?=,
How do I split subdocuments in Word 2007? The Split button in the ribbon is grayed out. The Master/SubDocument functionality relies on Word's built-in Heading styles to automatically generate sub-documents. You need to make sure that you click in a paragraph formatted with a Heading style. This will be the start of a sub-document, and at this point the Split button should be active.
