What version of Word is this?
When you choose File - Print Preview, does the document display correctly, or is it already blank at that point? What's in the document? Is it text, graphics, both? If it's just graphics, check Tools - Options - Print tab, and make sure that Drawing Objects is checked, and Draft Output is NOT checked.
