Word - Protect Headers but not Footers
I have an electronic letterhead/report template with the Headers/Footers
protected - using Protection Forms; Continuous page breaks for Section 1 only. Page 2 onwqrds also has protected headers (whcih differ from page 1). I now need to amend this to allow other users to edit the footers with report titles etc but ensure that the header is not touched in any way on any of the pages. I've spend hours trying various options and am about to give up and leave the whole document unprotected - I hate to admit defeat - can anyone hep me please. |

If a macro solution is acceptable, you'll find one at http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/Custom...PlusHeader.htm. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org Email cannot be acknowledged; please post all follow-ups to the newsgroup so all may benefit. |
