How do I remove the version number and date from a Word document?
I am modifying a Word document I downloaded from a website. On the bottom of
each page it shows as a footnote "Version 1.0, 11/28/2005". How do I remove this from the document? I am using Word 2003. |

Footnote or footer? If the latter, View | Header and Footer (or double-click
on the footer to open it in Print Layout view) and delete the text. -- Suzanne S.
