Word not overwriting highlighted text
Out of the blue word has stopped letting me highlight text and do either of
the following: - press backspace to delete the selected text (it just becomes unhighlighted again) - paste something over the text. For example: I want to replace a paragraph with another paragraph. i copy the desired paragraph then highlight the unwanted paragraph and select paste and instead of replacing it, it just pastes the desired text infront of the unwanted text! Very frustrating!! It was working earlier today! thanks leis |

In Word, click on Tools | Options | Edit tab | check the "Typing
replaces selection" box | OK.
