Default Can't get a blank document, old document has replaced blank

my blank documents have been replaced by an old document, so when ever I open
word I get this old document and not a new blank document. Even if I choose
new blank document I get the dol document and have to erase the content
before I can tye a new one. How can I fix this problem. I have uninstalled
and reinstalled but still no help.
