Word 2007 tool menus.
Does anyone know whether we can move the tools command menu to toolbars on
the side or to the bottom of the window for commonly used tool menus? Or at least turn off the automatic switching of tabs which contain these menus? I have a bunch of commonly used tools and its a bit irritating to have to fish through the tabs to find them. |

Word 2007 tool menus.
Word 2007 only has one toolbar the QAT (Quick Access Toolbar) which can be
positioned above or below the ribbon - above limits the number of buttons that can be added. If you still have access to an earlier Word version, you can add toolbars to the Add-ins tab - see http://www.gmayor.com/Toolbars_in_word_2007.htm otherwise you will need to edit the ribbon, see http://gregmaxey.mvps.org/Customize_Ribbon.htm and http://ribboncustomizer.com/ -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org Kin2pete wrote: Does anyone know whether we can move the tools command menu to toolbars on the side or to the bottom of the window for commonly used tool menus?
