Hyperlinks to another Word or Excel document work fine as long as the
document is open. Once I save and close the document and go back later and
reopen it the hyperlinks no longer work. Any ideas why? I'm working on a
network and some of the hyperlinked documents are on another network
directory or drive.

We had the exact same problem and we are on a network - our resolution was to
have the document and the links saved in the same drive. we then tested and
it worked.
