Default Page Setup MS Word 2000 MS Office

When attempting to perform page settup to 1" top, bottom, left and right.
Box pops up with message, "One or more margins are set outside printable area
of the page. Choose the Fix button to increase appropriate margins." Click
Fix, and deminisions a 1" Top 4.81" Bottom 2.17 Left and Right How do I
retain 1"? Robert

The printable area is determined by the printer driver. Try reinstalling or
upgrading the driver (from the manufacturer's web site).

Stefan Blom,

You were exactly correct. After believing there were corrupt files
causing the problem, I went through quite a process one click away from
deleting over 100MB of material.

That was the last device I thought would cause such a problem. It is
a first.
