can you globally change footers or do you have to open each one?
I have several footers that need to be changed from one project to another
and is there a way to change the footers without opening each one? |

There is no global tool. You can create one, but for a one-of situation it
would not be worth your time. (We may be talking 4-6 hours of work. Much more if you are not familiar with programming in vba.) In the future, you can use fields in headers or footers to hold information that you might want to change globally. These could be document property fields, or AutoText fields, or StyleRef fields.
