Cursor moving in Word & Alt charactors not showing?
Hi
I'm runnig Office 2000 on a Acer Centrino 4602WLMi notebook with Windows XP Pro. When typing in Word the cursor jumps to where the mouse are after a while. How can I stop it from doing this? And when I'm need to type a specific character like "ê" (using ALT 136), it just don't type anything in Word. How can I solve this? You can mail me at Thanks Fran |

I have seen this before on a laptop and come to the conclusion that the user
was accidentally touching the touchpad generating a click which moved the cursor. Any chance you are doing this accidentally? Enjoy, Tony "Fran" wrote in message ... Sorry, only answered one question ...
Entering character codes with Alt requires the numeric keypad. On my laptop this is with num lock and keys (mjkluio789) for (0123456789) - yours may be different.
