We are using version control for some large documents.

I want to link to various Visio files instead of embedding them When I embed
a link, I get a full pathname to the Visio file by default. I can then edit
that to use a relative path, so far so good. If I then refresh the link
though, the link gets replaced with a full path again (which of course is
not platform/user independent).

Is there any way to preserve the relative pathname?
