I removed a watermark from my Word document but it remained on two of the
fifteen pages. I've tried copying those pages to a different document but
the watermark keeps showing up. How can I get rid of it without retyping the
document?

These pages are probably in a separate section or header (such as a First
Page Header). With the insertion point on one of the pages where the
watermark appears, View | Header and Footer. Select the watermark and delete
it. Repeat, if needed, for the other page.

On the page with the watermark go to View Header and Footer.
Select the Watermark (if you move the mouse around the watermark you will
see the cursor change to a cross when you can select the image) and delete
it.
