My cursor disappears as I am typing and I have to bring it back with the
mouse. Have used two optical mice and happens with both. Have
trouble-shooted mouse function without luck. Using a Logitech MX310 optical
mouse. Dell Inspiron 8600 with Windows XP, 1 month old.

Does this happen whenever you type, at any/whatever program?
Try Notepad - see if it happens there as well.

If so; I would se what kind of setup I've set for the cursor. There is an
optionbutton that when active - makes the cursor disappear when typing.

In not: well - you've got me there...
